High quality
More than 16 years of experience in drying and processing slaughter by-products has taught us that good products start with the best raw materials. We do not alter them with chemicals, unnatural additives or technological processing. This helps us create products that support pets’ health. We take the same straightforward approach to working with our partners and suppliers: simple, flexible where needed and committed to high quality at every stage. All our products undergo strict quality checks, and our suppliers work with internationally recognised accreditation and certification schemes such as BRC, IFS and ISO. Dr David Gerber, our authorised company representative, helps ensure that our strict quality requirements are met. Based in South Africa, he contributes his expertise to product development and to quality and social standards in the region.
Sustainable
We want our products to help improve quality of life. That takes more than excellent manufacturing and product quality: sustainability needs to be part of everything we do. It starts with our packaging. Of our packaging material, 95% is made from a single type of plastic and is 100% recyclable. Through our producers, we support economically disadvantaged regions and local communities. We also support the South African veterinary organisation SAVA CVC. We deliberately work with businesses whose principles centre on sustainability, charitable work and creativity. These are important foundations for better living standards for everyone, today and in the future.
Focused on you
Animal wellbeing is at the heart of what we do. We also care about the people looking after them: their experience should be just as positive. Personal attention matters. As an experienced, responsible business, we take the time to understand each customer’s needs and offer both knowledgeable advice and friendly service.
Customer satisfaction is our benchmark. That is why we explain clearly how our products are made and processed, and which ingredients we use. We make their origins traceable and keep communication open and straightforward. We are only satisfied when our customers are too.
Focused on you
The well-being of animals is naturally the focus of our efforts – but we also recognize that a happy animal needs an owner who should feel equally comfortable. Humanity is key. As a young, dynamic company, we therefore pay close attention to addressing the individual needs of our customers and convincing them not only with expertise but also with friendliness. Our customers' complete satisfaction is our benchmark. That's why we provide transparent information about all manufacturing and processing methods and the ingredients used, ensure traceability, and create an open and trusting environment that makes it easy to communicate with us. We are only satisfied when our customers are.
Chews
More than a reward for your dog
You want your dog to be happy and healthy. Alongside a balanced diet and regular walks, chews can also support their wellbeing. Given as a reward, they strengthen your bond, help clean your dog’s teeth and satisfy their natural need to chew. They also keep your dog occupied and can help ease boredom and stress. Treat your dog to some chewing time with Mimos and SavannaDog. Always supervise your dog while they chew.
Choose good-quality chews made from natural ingredients, ideally without artificial additives. They can then be a valuable addition to a diet that meets your dog’s needs. Offering quality chews regularly helps keep your dog healthy and happy.

Supporting communities
Why ARGOA supports the SAVA clinic:
The South African Veterinary Association (SAVA) is a voluntary association with more than 1900 veterinary members. It works to uphold the profession’s reputation and the highest scientific standards in veterinary medicine.
Many people working in animal charities become discouraged by the slow pace of progress. SAVA sees a serious lack of veterinary care for pets whose owners have limited means. When owners cannot afford proper treatment, they may surrender their animals to shelters or abandon them, placing enormous pressure on shelters. The SAVA clinic provides education and works closely with animal welfare organisations, shelters, communities and veterinarians. It funds neutering, vaccinations and parasite treatments, helping to reduce animal suffering and ease the burden on owners.

As sustainable as possible
We pay close attention to animal welfare and sustainability. Animals are stunned before slaughter to make the process as humane and stress-free as possible. Turning slaughter by-products into dog chews allows almost the whole animal to be used.
Our commitment to sustainability extends to our packaging. We choose our packaging carefully to reduce its environmental impact. 95% of our packaging is made from a single type of plastic and is 100% recyclable. With nutrients that dogs can readily absorb and a taste they enjoy, SavannaDog is a delicious, high-quality addition to your dog’s diet.
Choosing SavannaDog supports more than your pet. Through our producers, we help economically disadvantaged regions and local communities in the countries we source from.
