Chewable
More than just a reward for your dog
As a dog owner, you want to ensure your four-legged friend is happy and healthy. Besides a balanced diet and regular walks, chew toys also contribute to your dog's well-being. Chew toys offer many benefits for your furry companion: they serve as rewards, strengthening the bond between you and your dog. They also help clean teeth and satisfy your dog's urge to chew. Last but not least, chew toys are a great way to relieve boredom and stress. For example, if your dog is home alone, chew toys like those from Mimos and SavannaDog can help keep them occupied and burn off energy.
It's important, however, that these chews are high-quality – ideally made without artificial additives and from natural ingredients. Then they are an important addition to your dog's species-appropriate diet. By regularly providing your dog with high-quality chew treats, you contribute to their health and happiness.

Facts about ostrich farming:
An adult male ostrich grows up to 2.70 meters tall, females up to 2.50 meters. The birds reach a body weight of between 110 and 150 kg. An ostrich can live to be almost 70 years old in the wild.
Ostriches are active animals – they are on the move for 12 hours a day and can reach speeds of up to 70 km/h. Therefore, they need several hectares of pastureland. Harassing an adult male during the rutting season can be life-threatening. Ostriches are capable of inflicting life-threatening injuries on a predator with just one kick from their sharp talons. Female ostriches lay approximately 10-12 eggs during the breeding season between September and March. An ostrich egg weighs 1.5 kg, and the chicks hatch after an incubation period of 42 days.
Our raw materials all come from the Klein Karoo region of South Africa, where ostriches have been bred since 1867. Initially, the birds were raised for their feathers, which were highly prized as jewelry. Today, the ostrich is the most widely utilized farm animal, as its feathers, leather, meat, and eggs are in high demand in both the food and fashion industries.
